We have a pond behind us that has a pair of trumpeter swans that have their wings clipped. The neighbors feed the parent swans and the pond is fenced in. They mate every and have babies. They have done this for 5 yrs.
This year the yearlings won't leave. The parents have been trying to drive them away for several weeks without success. This is the first year that this has happened. They chase them and trumpet all night long. What's going on and why don't the babies leave
