There is a swan in my front yard and it's been sitting there all day hiding behind my hedges.
I tried to send a path of food (greens) to the mill pond across the street, but it won't go. It moves away from me….walks and then sits down again. I've seen the whole wing span and it doesn't look like it is hurt.
I don't understand. Is this swan dying? Did she come to my yard to die? Or has she lost her way? We are surrounded by salt water. We're on a pennisula.
I'm worried that an animal will hurt her during the night.
Just want to know if you have any suggestions.
